As Co-Founder of Talentree, Ethan is actively involved in the strategic growth of the firm through the expansion into new recruiting markets and hiring and training of employees. While managing this growth Ethan runs a full cycle recruitment desk focused specifically on Alternative Investment Search for Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, BDCs, Hedge Funds and Real Estate Funds. He partners with firms across all life cycles to help build their front, middle and back office teams.
Ethan brings over 10 years of recruitment experience to the organization, previously spending 5 of those years with a large private equity backed recruitment firm focused on Executive Recruitment. Recently Ethan has utilized his Executive Recruitment Expertise to offer his investment management clients a full product offering, including consulting and recruitment services for their portfolio companies.
Mark Mulcahey is one of the founders of Talentree. Mark heads up client partnership development across multiple divisions at Talentree, bringing a decade of unparalleled recruitment expertise to the forefront. With a proven career track record, Mark has played a key role in expanding diverse business sectors, such as Aerospace, Technology, Finance, Aviation, Healthcare, Telecom, Construction and Labor hire, demonstrating excellence in both contingent and contract hiring.
Having lived and worked in the USA, Europe, and Australia, Mark's global perspective allowed him to understand and contribute to the unique dynamics of each market, his journey has been marked by a continuous immersion in fast-paced, startup cultures over the years.
Marcus Tam is one of the founding partners of Talentree and is based in Los Angeles. Marcus has been in the recruitment industry his entire career and has always specialized in the investment management sector, supporting new, emerging and established funds in the private equity, venture capital, debt/credit, crypto and real estate sectors. Throughout his career, Marcus has built a strong network of candidates and clients by partnering with leaders in asset management and supporting the growth of their finance, investment and operations teams.
In recent years, Marcus has ventured into the healthcare space and has successfully built a dedicated team of recruiters to support the staffing of clinical and operation positions with some of the nation’s largest hospitals.
Sonny Lo is tasked with spearheading the growth of infrastructure and sales operations at Talentree. Sonny brings over 10 years of talent acquisition, staffing, and recruitment technology experience and has built and scaled multiple award winning businesses in the U.S. within contract and direct hire.
Prior to co-founding Talentree, Sonny’s career highlights include Global Top Biller, Youngest Leadership Team by Inc 500, and holding executive positions for the fastest growing international energy recruitment firm as well as the fastest growing human capital business in the country.
